Newest carpark in Leeds nears completion

I've been following the slow demise of the Leeds International Swimming Pool for the past year or so.  First it's gradual decay through neglect, and in the past 6 months through its demolition.  Now this, in my opinion, is a marmite building....you either love it or you hate it.  I dare I say I fall into the smaller camp of loving it.  So I've been keeping track of progress.  Today's visit shows the land is nearly ready for it's next stage in life as a car park (which a worker in a nearby office informed me was the intention).  You can see the progress below...

If you would like to see my gallery showing the Leeds International Swimming Pool in all its dilapidated glory click here.

On the way back into town I stumbled across this......might be one to add to the Graffiti collection.
